The vacation was absolutely GREAT.
It was also pretty long. 31/2 weeks.
Even though it fantastic I was happy when we went home as well.

We went to East Africa. We saw mount kenya and the Kili, we didn't go and climb it though :).
I loved to national parks. the Serengeti was absolutely great.
The Ngorongoro beautiful as well, with it's close-up of two cheetah and a herd of wildebeast.
However the temperature was what I was expecing. COLD! and to think the Netherlands were dealing with a humongous heat wave.

We saw the Big Five! All of them.
I don't have photographs of them all, but did get some rather nice pics.

Lessons learned
1. Humans are hypocrits (not like I didn't know already, but...)
They get uncomfortable seeing a lion eat its prey, then they don't bat an eye devouring their steaks.

2. humans can be so annying
Staying in close quarters (same bus, hotel etc) with people you don't relly like to begin with will grate on your nerves. We all survived, but I was quite happy to go home and never having to see them again, or at least for a while.
